Sunday July 29, A Special Day

John 3:15-21

" That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

This Sunday will be a special day at Heartland Baptist Church!  The Pastor’s daughter Rachel has been called to be a missionary in the Country of Honduras, South America.  She will be presenting that work and explaining her calling and mission in Adult Sunday School at 10 a.m.  In addition, the Anner family, Missionaries who already serve in Honduras will be present to update us on their ministry in Honduras following Rachel’s presentation.

The morning service will start at 11 a.m. as usual with Pastor Jim Kiefer preaching from the book of Matthew, presenting another message from the “Kingdom of Heaven” series.

As the final Sunday of the month we will be having our traditional fellowship with a pot-lock lunch right after the morning service.

The day will close out after the afternoon service which will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Brother Seven Anner preaching.

We hope to see you there!
