Grand Opening & 17th Anniversary

John 3:15-21

" That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

There will be work performed on the building during the week by the men from Fairfax Baptist Temple, Fairfax, VA.  and on Friday they will be treated to a special cookout at the Pastor’s home in the afternoon.

The community is welcome and encouraged to attend the scheduled services.  Anyone who wishes to tour the facilities is welcome to stop by.  We would be happy to show you what has been accomplished with God’s help.

Other churches around the country have invested both time and money in helping us to purchase and repair the building.  Jehovah Jireh Ministries invested a large sum of money to help us with the purchase.  Fairfax Baptist Temple and Shining Light Baptist Church both invested in the building and repairs.  We are so thankful for their help!

Additionally, many businesses have been a huge help to us in this endeavor and we would love for folks from each organization to stop in for a service so that our congregation can recognize you and thank you for your help!

Local Businesses and entities that have contributed to our successful purchase, transition into and continued efforts in remodeling are:

  • First State Community Bank
  • Chester National Bank
  • The City of Perryville, Board of Alderman, Planning and Zoning, and Angela Brown
  • Guyot Lumber and Hardware
  • Schumer Brothers Heating and Cooling
  • Perryville Outdoor Products
  • Moonier Florist and Greenhouse
  • Citizen’s Electric Corp.
